Itinerary of your Weekend Getaway in Los Angeles
Day 1 - Friday:
Arrival at your fashionable modern hotel, Hotel June*. Start your trip by enjoying the heated outdoor pool and the fire pit. Dinner at leisure (not included).
Day 2 - Saturday:
Today you'll be transferred to Downtown Los Angeles for your guided walking tour of the neighborhood known as DTLA, and it’s areas such as the creative Arts District and the historic heart of the city, El Pueblo.
Some highlights of your day will be taking the Angel's Flight Railway, surveying the delicious flavors of Grand Central Market, and admiring the murals and architecture of the area.
Tonight, an Angeleno will welcome you into their home for a freshly cooked dinner (included). A great way to feel like you belong in the city!
Day 3 - Sunday:
Check out after breakfast. Say goodbye to your group and guide. Day at leisure. Explore Los Angeles on your own: get a complimentary bike from your hotel and explore nearby Playa Del Rey, or simply the heated outdoor pool. If you're feeling adventurous, take a hike in one of the hilltop parks like Runyon Canyon or Griffith Park and admire the vistas of the stunning city.
Optional excursion: Surf lesson & guided tours of Santa Monica and Venice
Transfer from your hotel to Santa Monica. Start the day with an optional 90 minute surf lesson and get acquainted with the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards, you’ll start your walking tour with a stroll on the Santa Monica Boardwalk as well as the Santa Monica Pier, and the Third Street Promenade, where you can get lunch (on your own). Next, head to Venice Beach and turn inland, where you will peek at the charming houses lining the Venice canals and learn the fascinating history of the neighborhood. End your day with a drink while enjoying the sunset over the Pacific Ocean in Marina Del Rey.
Optional: Add a night on Sunday
Optional excursion: Guided hike in Griffith Park on Monday
Option available if choosing an extra night on Sunday. Transfer to the Griffith Observatory where your hike start. You will stop on the way to pick up a picnic. Your hike will be about 2 hours with a distance of about four miles and a few steep climbs, and will end back where it started. Built in 1935 and located on Mount Hollywood, the observatory will provide you with breathtaking views over downtown L.A., the surrounding areas and up to Santa Monica Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
*Accommodations may vary based on departure date. The final hotel confirmation will be sent to you 15 days before your departure.

If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the terms outlined below:
Full refund if cancellation is received 32 days or more from the departure date, minus the deposit ($200 per room)
50% of the trip per person cancelled will be due for cancellation received between 31 and 8 days of the departure date
No refund will be provided for cancellation received between 8 days of departure and the departure date
The tour requires a minimum number of people. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
