Itinerary of your California Vacation
Day 1: Los Angeles
Arrival in Los Angeles. Take the complimentary shuttle to your hotel located near the airport. You’ll meet your guide at the hotel in the evening.

Day 2: Los Angeles
Start your day with a guided tour of Los Angeles. Discover the beach communities of Venice Beach and Santa Monica; Olvera Street, known as the ''birthplace of Los Angeles'', and the Los Angeles Original Farmer’s Market, a foodie paradise.
Continue to Hollywood and the Griffith Observatory to get some of the best views of Downtown Los Angeles and the famous Hollywood sign.
At the end of the day, enjoy a tour & tasting at a local brewery. You’ll learn the process of making beer and enjoy a flight of several selected craft beers.

Day 3: Los Angeles – Santa Barbara – San Luis Obispo
In the morning, you’ll stop at a local organic farm to learn about planting, harvesting, and what’s in season. Continue to Santa Barbara and visit its beautiful mission.
Then continue towards Santa Ynez for an olive oil tasting at a local producer and a tasting at a local winery.

Day 4: San Luis Obispo – Carmel – Monterey
Continue your journey north along Big Sur’s beautiful coastline and marvel at its monumental redwoods, and arrive in Carmel to enjoy a gourmet food tour. In the afternoon, tour California’s former capital Monterey, particularly the historic port and Cannery Row, made famous by the writer John Steinbeck. Pick up a Seafood Watch guide from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is considered one of the world’s best sustainable seafood advisory lists.

Day 5: Monterey – San Francisco
Stop at a local fruit and vegetable stand as you drive through the Artichoke Center of the World on the way to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, famous for its 40-acre grove of towering old-growth redwood trees and home to four diverse habitats: grasslands, river/riparian, sandhills, and redwoods.
Continue towards San Francisco and enjoy a guided tour through its most beautiful neighborhoods.
At the end of the day, enjoy a cocktail in a speakeasy.

Day 6: San Francisco
Start the day with a coffee at a local roasting company. Then head to the Mission District for a food tour of one of San Francisco’s most interesting and eclectic neighborhoods. You’ll get to taste local delicacies. Your guide will also explain the local history and culture and highlight the landmarks and colorful murals of the area.
Then you’ll head to the Ferry Building Marketplace to browse the offerings from artisan food and wine producers.
In the evening, tour a historic San Francisco brewery and enjoy a tasting.

Day 7: San Francisco / Marin County and wine country
This morning you’ll cross the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge to explore Marin County, which showcases beautiful nature and delicious food. Visit a local cheese maker, sample fresh oysters and visit a bee farm and taste fresh honey.
Then enjoy a tour and tasting at a local winery in the famous Napa or Sonoma Valley.
For your last night of the trip, say goodbye to your fellow travelers during a farewell dinner (included).

Day 8: Departure
Enjoy the last day of your California vacation at leisure. You’ll transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.

* This tour has several light walks that require a basic level of fitness. Expect to spend up to four hours on a comfortable tour bus or van traveling from city to city.

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the terms outlined below:

Full refund if cancellation is received 32 days or more from the departure date, minus the deposit ($200 per room)

50% of the tour per person cancelled will be due for cancellation received between 31 and 8 days of the departure date

No refund will be provided for cancellation received between 8 days of departure and the departure date
The tour requires a minimum number of people. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
