The Roots of Music creates the next generation of New Orleans musicians.
Their mission is to empower the youth of New Orleans and preserve and promote the unique musical and cultural heritage of their city.
Five days a week, twelve months a year, they provide free musical instruction, transportation, and hot meals to youth from over 40 schools. They invest approximately $5,000 in each student we serve and we do not charge families to participate. Learn more
GirlVentures’s mission is to inspire girls to lead through outdoor adventure, inner discovery, and collective action.
They combine outdoor adventure like climbing, hiking, kayaking and more, with social emotional learning for adolescent girls, providing them with knowledge and tools that empower them to reach their full potential.
Their programs include Summer wilderness expeditions, school-year climbing and mentorship programs, and Youth Advisory Board to continue to build leadership and other professional development skills. Learn more

NavajoStrong was created to aid the Navajo community during the COVID-19 pandemic and economic crisis.
Navajo Strong strives to honor the Navajo people and empower the Diné by working hard to assist those affected by disease, poverty, and other health disparities.
They provide vulnerable families with water, food and other essential supplies through community distribution centers, as well as information about resources for help, and knowledge about the disease.

HOLA provides underserved youth with free, exceptional programs in academics, arts and athletics within a nurturing environment, empowering them to develop their potential, pursue their education and strengthen their communities.
HOLA serves 2,100 youth each year through innovative and transformational after-school programs led by expert staff and supported by a professional and dedicated volunteer corps who are committed to ensuring every student has the opportunities and resources they need to be successful. Learn more

Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to nearly 20,000 homebound elderly New Yorkers.
Citymeals has delivered over 4 million weekend, holiday and emergency meals since the start of the pandemic. Last year, 19,865 volunteers gave more than 82,000 hours of time to Citymeals’ mission.
